Core Negotiations Training Workshop

This workshop provides the fundamentals needed to be a skilled business negotiator.  Topics include knowing when to use collaborative and competitive approaches to negotiation; how to best prepare for the negotiation and create more value; dealmaking techniques and tactics; and how to deal with difficult counterparts.

The workshop can be conducted in 1 or 2 days, depending on how much time an organization wants to dedicate to practice and coaching.

Participants are awarded a Certification in Strategic Negotiation upon completion of the workshop.

This training takes participants through the core, six-step process any merchant needs to understand to create sales and profit-generating outcomes.  Starting with how to develop insights for their category, the training works through developing a category strategy, picking the right assortment, negotiating a better outcome, implementing the assortment, and reviewing the results.
