Daniel Duty, Co-founder & CEO

Daniel is one of the country's leading authorities on negotiation and partnership strategies, process, tools and techniques.  He created the one of its kind Business Partnerships and Negotiations team while at Target (a Fortune 40 retailer) where he oversaw thousands of negotiations and built partnerships with companies such as Google, Coca-Cola and P&G.  During his tenure he created savings and added value for the company worth many billions of dollars.

Daniel has also served as VP Global Affairs and Strategy at Target, Chief Negotiator and legal counsel to General Mills, an aid to US Senator Paul Simon, and a trial attorney for the US International Trade Commission.

Daniel is a frequent lecturer on negotiations, partnerships and coalition building at conferences and leading universities such as Harvard, Berkeley, Northwestern and the University of Minnesota. He serves as a Senior Fellow to Future 500, a non-profit helping solve conflict at the intersection of business and society.

Will Davis, Co-founder & COO

Will is a leading expert in negotiation, partnership building, and joint business planning and has led businesses across the landscape of retail & consumer goods.  Will led Target's e-commerce toys business and created the vendor partnership & engagement strategy for Target's multi-Billion dollar household commodities, personal care, baby, and beauty businesses. In that role he conducted hundreds of supply chain, vendor terms, contract, and merchandising negotiations annually, creating hundreds of millions in value.

Throughout his career Will has built & successfully managed strategic partnerships with dozens of leading companies on behalf of Conlego's clients, Target, Silicon Valley startup shopkick, and others: including Procter & Gamble, Unilever, Visa, Levi's, and Hanes.

Scott Robertson, Advisor - Head of Supplier Engagement Strategies

Former Sr. Buyer and Director of Partnerships & Negotiations for Grocery business at Target with 30+ years of experience in finance, supply chain, merchandising and operations. Scott led Joint Business Planning (JBP) and long-range planning (LRP) for Super Target and P-Fresh grocery expansions, and is our go-to guru for significant supplier engagements.

 
 
Kryssa Anderson, Associate - Negotiation Expert

Kryssa Anderson, Associate - Negotiation Expert

Kryssa has a robust foundation in retail and is a negotiation expert. She began her career at a locally based Minnesota apparel company, which ignited her passion for client management. From there, Kryssa went on to run several multi-million-dollar Beauty businesses at Target Corporation where she managed relationships with over 100 vendors. Her legacy of continual value creation, vendor collaboration and change management skills, led her to join the Business Partnerships and Negotiations team. While there, Kryssa became a leader of negotiation strategy and implementation as she generated millions of dollars in cost savings and pure profit improvement for the Electronics, Toys, Sporting Goods, Home and Beauty businesses. While driving results at work is her strong suit, Kryssa can also be found skiing, doing yoga, or laughing continuously in her spare time. 

Kryssa holds a BS in Finance, Marketing and Spanish from the Carlson School of Management. While at school, she was known for tutoring student athletes in all facets of business – you can say facilitating meaningful, beneficial partnerships has been a passion of hers for a long time.

Carlos Castelán, Partner - Chief Strategy Officer

Carlos was previously the Founder & Managing Director at Noma Consulting Partners, a boutique firm with retail and consumer clients such as General Electric, Yum! Brands, and Anheuser-Busch InBev.  At Noma, he developed tailored, data-driven solutions for clients in the areas of e-commerce, guest insights, and financial analysis.

Prior to Noma, Carlos worked on the Business Partnerships & Negotiations team at Target and was a Business Analyst at Target.com.  Carlos holds an MBA from Harvard Business School. In his spare time, he enjoys watching soccer, running, and spending time with family and two dogs – Harvey & Thor.

 

Young Hu, Associate - Negotiation and Finance Expert

Young started his career in investment banking with Wells Fargo Securities, and later joined Target Corp. as a Project Manager for its Business Partnerships & Negotiations team, supporting a wide variety of businesses ranging from Grocery to Sporting Goods. At Target, he developed solutions for merchandising clients via data-driven and strategic insights, generating millions of dollars in savings.  Young has also served as Chief Administrative Officer of Wydown Water LLC, a water and water cooler delivery and services business.

Young holds a BSBA from Washington University in Saint Louis.
